Job Overview
Receptionist shall typically be stationed at the front desk, serving as the first focal point of contact for incoming patients. Patients and visitors all expect to be greeted with a warm welcome smile and assisted by a receptionist with n genuine and sincere interest in helping with whatever they need.
Requirements skills
- Computer literacy
- Minimum of form six level, Diploma
- Customer Service knowledge
- Able to speak and writing English language
- Candidates with hospital work experience will have an added advantage.
Personal Attributes
- Ability to work under working pressure environment
- Able to work day and night shifts including week ends and public holidays
- Team work player
Some Main Duties:
- Greet and Assist Patients/Visitors and portray positive Hospital image
- Issuing of medical forms for cash and health insurance patients
- Receiving, keeping and returning patients medical cards
- Provide patients or their accompanying friends or family with the necessary paperwork for registration, in accordance with each insurance protocol
- In coordination with OPD Nurse assist emergency patients for urgent attention including paper works.
- Direct patients to the required triage clinics or cashier office.
- Properly schedule appointments for various visiting specialists and provide courtesy calls to patients to remind them of an upcoming appointment.
- In charge of answering phones and assisting callers with any information they need.
- Maintain an organized environment, office organization to maximizing patient flow to avoid long queues or crowded waiting OPD area.
- Any duties that may arise
