- Patient Registration & Filing
- Accuracy & Confidentiality of Records
- Updating Records Systems
- Report and Summary Preparation
- Archiving & Disposal
- Integration with Hospital Systems
- Adherence to Hospital Standards & Procedures
Job Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
- A diploma in information technology, health records, or a related field
- Listed with the appropriate professional association (if applicable)
- adept at using hospital information systems and entering data
- Excellent organisational and attention to detail abilities
- An additional benefit is having prior experience with electronic medical records.
- An extra benefit is having prior hospital or healthcare institution experience.
