POSITION: Doctor of Dental Surgery

The Baobab Hospital, officially known as the CCBRT Maternity Hospital, is a specialized maternal and newborn care facility in Dar es Salaam. The hospital, established through a public-private partnership between the Tanzanian Ministry of Health and the non-governmental organization Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT), intends to address the region’s high maternal and newborn death rates. It provides tertiary-level treatments, such as emergency obstetric and neonatal care, and functions as a referral facility for the Dar es Salaam region and nearby areas. The hospital also works to train health workers and improve maternal and newborn health care in municipal hospitals and health centers.The Management of Shajar Schools Association invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the available position (Doctor of Dental Surgery) at Baobab Hospital and School .
Qualifications:
- A dental surgery diploma or bachelor’s degree from an approved college or university is required.
- Must have a Tanganyika Medical Council (MCT) registration.
- Must have a current license to practice.
