Role purpose:

As part of the Reward & HR Services function, the role entails delivering excellent employee experiences through solutions and operational support that align with corporate strategies.
Include responsibility for a variety of Reward and Recognition systems, such as salary, incentives, benefits, recognition, and rules. Provides advice and advisory help for the interpretation of standardised HR processes and rules, as well as compensation, benefits, and other HR transactions.

Qualifications AND Experience: 

  • Possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. •
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a multinational context.
  • Demonstrates practical experience with HR information systems and rewards.
  • Excellent comprehension of global and local compensation ideas, methodology, and practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Process Expertise
    • Promote a culture of process improvement, with a focus on automation, self-service, data integrity, and providing outstanding support to HR internal customers.
    • Ensure a pleasant employee experience by providing consulting services on all HR policies and processes queries.
    • Conduct frequent reviews of HR processes to verify compliance and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Identify processes that require reengineering and take appropriate action.
    • Facilitate and lead change management for all HR projects while encouraging adoption.
      HR Systems
    • Drive the rollout, adoption, and accurate use of HR solutions in the organization.
    • Ensure accuracy in system operations, data integrity, access roles, and fast resolution of any identified glitches.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as a liaison with all employee third-party service providers, ensuring that quality services are provided in accordance with the agreed-upon MOU, expectations, and requirements.
    • Collaborate with HRBPs, centers of expertise, management, and other HR global stakeholders at support Centers and technical support desks to oversee day-to-day HR operations.
    • Delivering Exceptional Employee Experience
    • Excellent management of the AskHR portfolio in accordance with Vodafone’s worldwide standards and ways of working.
    • Increase HR system adoption and encourage a self-service attitude among employees.
    • Ensure 100% compliance with AskHR’s cascaded global targets, optimal channel utilization, processes, and a perfect day one.
  • Rewards
    • Drive and implement reward and recognition activities in accordance with policy, and track their efficacy in attaining our compensation philosophy.
    • Recommend and assist in the development of appealing incentive schemes that support the company’s and HR priorities and objectives.
    • Evaluate Tanzanian market incentive and benefits provision and identify possibilities to enhance our value proposition.
    • Serve as the focal point for all reward concerns throughout the firm, ensuring employee understanding and clarity on each individual’s complete compensation structure.
