Tanzania’s Police Force is a national law enforcement body in charge of maintaining peace, security, and public order throughout the country. It reports to the Ministry of Home Affairs and is governed by the Police Force and Auxiliary Services Act. The Tanzanian Police Force (TPF) is responsible for preventing and investigating crimes, upholding laws, defending lives and property, and assuring the safety of inhabitants and visitors. It also plays an important role in traffic control, immigration enforcement, and public safety. The force includes several departments, such as the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Traffic Police, Field Force Unit (FFU), and other specialized units.
The Tanzania Police Force has released a list of applicants it has invited to interviews for new employment opportunities for the 2025/2026 fiscal year. It selected a total of 33,990 applicants to take part in this important interview process.
The interviews will take place from April 25 to May 11, 2025, in various regions across the country. Applicants must report to their assigned centers on the specified date and time and bring the required documents listed in the official announcement.
Required Documents for Interview:
- National ID (NIDA) or NIDA number
- Original academic certificates (Form Four/Six certificates and professional certificates)
- Birth certificate
- Two passport-size photographs
- Introduction letter from the local government authority (ward/village government)
