QUALIFICATION FOR EACH POSITION

1. Pediatrician

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized university.
Master of Medicine (MMed) in Pediatrics or a recognized postgraduate specialization in Pediatrics.
Must be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika and hold a valid practicing license.

Professional Experience:

At least 2–5 years of clinical experience in pediatric care, including experience in both outpatient and inpatient pediatric services.
Experience in managing common childhood illnesses, growth monitoring, immunization programs, and neonatal care is highly desirable.
Experience in working in a hospital setting, preferably in a busy or resource-limited environment.

2. Physician

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
Master of Medicine (MMed) in Internal Medicine or an equivalent postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine.
Must be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika and possess a valid practicing license.

Professional Experience:

A minimum of 2–5 years of clinical experience in internal medicine or general medicine.
Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of adult medical conditions, including chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, and infectious diseases.
Hospital-based work experience is preferred, especially in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

3. Medical Doctor

Must be fully registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
Should hold a valid practicing license issued by the relevant medical board in Tanzania.

Professional Experience:

At least 1–3 years of clinical experience after internship, preferably in a hospital or busy healthcare facility.
Experience in managing common medical conditions, handling emergencies, and providing both outpatient and inpatient care.
Internship completion in a recognized hospital with rotations in key departments (medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology).

4. Nurses

Academic Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized nursing school or university.
Must be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
Should possess a valid practicing license issued by TNMC.

Professional Experience:

At least 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or busy clinical setting.
Experience in areas such as general nursing care, maternity, pediatrics, or surgical wards is an added advantage.
Internship or practical training in a recognized healthcare institution is essential.

Strong patient care and observation skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to perform basic procedures such as vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
