Chanzi is a fast-growing circular economy company turning organic waste into sustainable animal feed and organic fertiliser through Black Soldier Fly (BSF) technology. We’re on a mission to build a healthier planet and a stronger agricultural value chain in Africa by transforming waste into value. As we scale our operations to Dar es Salaam, we are looking for a hands-on, driven Site Manager to lead and coordinate our daily operations.
We are currently operating in Arusha, Dar Es Salaam, Nairobi and Mombasa.
The Role
- As Site Manager, you will oversee all aspects of site operations in Dar es Salaam, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of production, people, logistics, safety, and quality control.
- You’ll be at the heart of our mission—driving execution, managing teams, and making critical operational decisions that support our scale-up.
Ideal Profile
Operations Management, Agriculture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in operations, site/factory/production management, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or waste processing.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities.
Hands-on, proactive, and capable of working in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
Fluency in English and Swahili is required.
Based in or willing to relocate to Dar es Salaam.
